Ceremonial Wedding

Napsali mi:

Ahoj Mandalam,
My moc děkujeme, za vedení obřadu.

Cítím i větší zodpovědnost, starost o něj a chuť o něj více pečovat.
Krásný den
S pozdravem Adéla Z.

Shamanic Wedding

This is a ceremony where nothing is promised forever, but the partners share their intentions — what they wish to offer and allow for one another.

The Shamanic Wedding is inspired by the ancient teachings of the Medicine Wheels, passed down by the so-called Chiefs of the Void. Later, this wisdom, enriched by elements from various cultures, was carried by the Twisted Hair Society. The teachings were brought to Europe by Arwyn Dreamwalker, a Métis woman (of Navajo and Irish heritage), and later by her student John Hawken – Star Water. John Hawken was wed in 2021 by his student Jitka Mandalam – Songs Awaken, who performed the ceremony together with his wife Katarina Němcová (see photo from the stone circle).

This is a wedding that doesn't take place in a church temple, but in the Temple of Nature.

All present guests, by sending love from their hearts, create a living temple through the energy shared among themselves and within the space of the ceremony.

A wedding created by Jitka Mandalam, together with the bride and groom, doesn't have to be "shamanic" only. It can take many forms, depending on the wishes or spiritual traditions of the couple.

According to tradition, a Shamanic Marriage is made for one year and a day. After this time, the couple meets again to renew their bond in a sacred ritual — or, if needed, to part ways. This is not a rule, but a beautiful suggestion.

In Indigenous tradition, no one owns anything or anyone. We may walk together for a time, or carry something or someone for a while — but we do not possess.

Renewal of Vows and the expression of gratitude for the shared path of partnership is also a beautiful ritual couples can offer one another after years of marriage. Often, their children also take part in this celebration.

One of the ceremonial highlights is drinking from a traditional Native American wedding vase, which has one body and two spouts. Drinking from it symbolizes the union of woman and man and the sacred closing of their marriage.

Mandalam)

Svatba je vytvořena individuálně na míru a dle preferencí každého páru!
