I am Jitka Mandalam – a teacher, guide, and shaman.

My medicine name is Wakanu.

I have traveled and spent time in nature and with Indigenous people. I continued this way of living while raising my family and three children. I began painting mandalas, and because creating circles brought me peace and beauty, I named my work Mandalam – representing wholeness, harmony, peace, and the beauty of this path I walk.
